JB’s Musings: My number one favourite thing about music is that it CONNECTS PEOPLE – and isn’t that what we all want for ourselves and for those we care about – to feel connected. Not only connected to others but also to that feeling that we are apart of something bigger. Each of us has a part to PLAY in the music we call life.
Morse code was created as a way to connect with others and communicate with those far away. It is therefore an interesting piece of trivia to note that the famous ascending Nokia phone ringtone is a musical version of the bops and beeps of Morse Code. The code they used….well….it is Nokia’s slogan…Connecting People. Brilliant.
