Music Therapy for Toddlers with Disabilities (3 – 6 year olds)
Small Groups (4 – 6 children). Goal-Driven. Skill Development. Engaging Positively with Peers.
Early Intervention Music Therapy encourages an early development of self and peer awareness, speech and language skills, increase in auditory awareness, improvement in motor skills, expansion of creativity and exploration, and assistance in the development of meaningful relationships.
Music therapy sessions will be personalized for each group and include: instrument play and singing and a variety of sensory experiences to reach goals effectively.
Unlike other early childhood music programs, group music therapy services allow for a client centred approach with adaptations applied to interventions, instruments, and songs in the moment to increase participation and to best meet the needs of every child.
Each intervention is designed with the goals of the children and the group in mind.
